Mobile, In-vehicle Infotainment (IVI), wearable and TV have been the main
focuses of Tizen OS. However, since Tizen aims to be the OS of Everything,
there are many other segments under the name of Internet of Things (IOT) that
should not be neglected. In this presentation, we will introduce the concept
of Tizen Micro project, which targets at small footprint, multi- tasking,
headless IOT devices. Meanwhile, considering the fast innovation and
challenged development schedule, based on some initial implementation in
Tizen-micro, we also will show how to use Yocto to build Tizen-micro as base
system for IoT device in one easy and quick way.
