"Internet of Things" is the most recent buzzphrase and, just like "Cloud"
before it, it's only got a very vague definition. Different people will answer
give you different answers if you ask them what either of those is. Yet one
thing is for certain: the Internet of Things is based on Open Source software
and open standards.

This session will give an overview of what the various interpretations for
Internet of Things actually are and what the technologies behind them are. It
will then talk about what is coming in the near future, how the industry
appears to be organising itself and how different projects are trying to put it
all together.
